Golf and Turf Machinery Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Golf and Turf Machinery Technician to join our team at Balmers GM Ltd. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the excellent maintenance and repair of our customers' golf and turf machinery.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with plant, truck, motorcycles, farm machinery, forklift trucks, or ground-care machinery. You will be required to undertake diagnostics and repairs, as well as servicing and maintenance of our customers' equipment. A strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostics and repairs on golf and turf machinery
  • Undertake servicing and maintenance of equipment
  • Develop skills and knowledge through training and professional development
  • Mentor apprentices and trainees

Requirements:

  • Experience working with plant, truck, motorcycles, farm machinery, forklift trucks, or ground-care machinery
  • Ability to work as a team or individually
  • Self-motivated with good communication skills
  • Ability to work extended hours and weekends on a rotational basis
  • Full UK driving license required
