Plumbing Education Specialist

Salary: Up to £38,827 per annum plus £3,000 market supplement

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: Full time, 37 hours per week

We are thrilled to announce an opportunity for a dedicated and skilled Plumbing Education Specialist. The successful candidate will possess a robust background in plumbing, heating, and ventilation, with a preference for commercial experience, although domestic expertise will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging lessons and contribute to the enhancement of our educational offerings, positively influencing student learning and assessment.
  • Assist in creating teaching materials, developing course outlines, lesson plans, and maintaining records to track student progress, achievements, and attendance.
  • Provide relevant guidance to students, fostering their knowledge, understanding, and skills.
  • Design and implement effective assessment strategies and resources linked to initial and ongoing evaluations.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Utilize your extensive technical knowledge to instruct students across levels 1, 2, and 3 through both theoretical and practical approaches.
  • Experience in teaching, tutoring, or mentoring apprentices and learners, whether part-time or full-time.
  • A genuine passion for sharing knowledge and skills to empower students for a brighter future.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum GCSE Grade 4/C in English and Maths or equivalent.
  • Relevant degree and/or appropriate professional qualifications.
  • Level 3 qualification in a relevant field.
  • Commitment to achieving teaching qualifications.
  • Assessor and Moderator/IQA Award is desirable.
