Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumbing Lecturer to join our team at ONLY FE. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing, heating, and ventilation, preferably commercial but domestic experience will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach students on programmes at level 1, 2, and 3 through theory and practical knowledge.
  • Assist in the development of teaching and learning materials, preparing schemes of work, lesson plans, and maintaining records to monitor learner progression, achievement, and attendance.
  • Utilize your technical skills and experience to deliver high-quality instruction to apprentices, part-time, or full-time learners.
  • Develop and implement effective teaching methods to ensure student success.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to enhance teaching and learning.
  • Contribute to the development of curriculum and assessment materials.
  • Participate in quality assurance and improvement activities.

Requirements:

  • Minimum GCSE Grade 4/C in English & Maths or equivalent.
  • Level 3 qualification in a relevant area of expertise.
  • Commitment to achieving teaching qualifications.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
