This temporary role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a vital service and gain valuable experience within the logistics industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sort and collect post/parcels from the local delivery office.
  • Utilize a hand-held device for capturing customer signatures and navigating delivery routes.
  • Deliver letters and parcels, ensuring accurate and timely distribution to customers.
  • Maintain physical stamina by walking at least 8 miles per day and carrying bags weighing up to 16kg.
  • Operate both vehicles and foot-based delivery methods, including the use of trolleys for efficient parcel handling.
Essential Skills:
  • Valid UK driving license with a maximum of 6 points (a clean license is preferred).
  • Previous delivery or driving experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills to ensure efficient deliveries.
  • Strong communication and customer service abilities for positive interactions with recipients.
  • Commitment to safe and responsible driving practices.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
