Postal Delivery Driver

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and efficient Postal Delivery Driver to join our team at Meriden Media. As a Postal Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering mail and parcels to customers in the Edinburgh area.

Key Responsibilities:
• Sorting and collecting post and parcels at the local delivery office
• Using a hand-held device to capture customer signatures for deliveries
• Delivering mail and parcels to customers, with a focus on excellent customer service
• Walking at least 8 miles per day and carrying a bag that can weigh up to 16kg
• Driving and on foot delivery, with the ability to push/pull a trolley during deliveries

Requirements:
• Valid UK driving license with a maximum of 6 points
• Previous delivery or driving experience preferred but not mandatory
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Strong communication and customer service abilities
• A commitment to safe and responsible driving practices

Working Conditions:
• Working outdoors in all weathers
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
