As our Catering Manager, you'll have full financial and operational responsibility for our school's catering facility. You'll be responsible for delivering exceptional service and food with a creative twist to make school mealtimes fun and exciting.

Our team is dedicated to providing a positive and motivating work environment, and we're looking for someone who shares our passion for serving great food and providing excellent service.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage the team to ensure a consistently fantastic dining experience for students and staff
* Lead in the preparation of delicious and nutritious meals of the highest quality
* Provide outstanding support and guidance to the team
* Lead, develop, coach, and train all staff in a positive and motivating manner
* Have full control of the catering operation, including stock, food, and labour costs
* Manage and improve all controllable costs
* Drive sales through monthly promotions and added value events
* Build positive relationships with clients and customers
* Ensure full compliance with company systems & procedures, and legislation
* Carry out regular audits to ensure standards are being met

Ideal Candidate:

* A natural positive leader who can demonstrate great teamwork
* Previous experience in managing a team
* Craft-based experience using fresh ingredients
* OND or HND Qualification (preferred)
* Strong knowledge of Health and Safety practices within a kitchen
* Financial understanding of gross profit management and achieving sales targets
