About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Subscriptions Marketing Manager to join our team at EMAP. As a key member of our Subscriptions Marketing Team, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth of our subscription-based business across two of our flagship brands.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to acquire and retain individual subscribers, as well as generate and qualify leads for corporate/group subscriptions.
  • Expand digital engagement across various user segments, distinguishing between registered users and subscribers.
  • Collaborate with editorial teams to leverage available content for effective engagement and acquisition campaigns.
  • Monitor KPIs, such as open and click rates, CPA, ROI, digital engagement, and renewal rates, to inform continuous improvement through testing.
  • Represent the brand at key UK events, both virtually and in-person, presenting a marketing face for the brands.
Requirements
  • Marketing experience, ideally within publishing or other sectors with paid subscriber bases.
  • Broad experience across on and offline marketing channels.
  • Able to work to challenging targets within tight timeframes, prioritizing and setting clear, measurable, and achievable goals.
  • Demonstratable experience in planning, managing, and executing marketing campaigns.
  • Ability to spot opportunities and transform ideas into practical reality, reviewing existing challenges and generating fresh solutions.
