About the Role:
Ayrshire College is seeking a highly skilled and experienced VQ Assessor to join our Work Based Assessment Team. As a VQ Assessor, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of work-based and vocational qualifications in the motor vehicle sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop effective partnerships with external employers and commercial organisations
- Assess, verify, and monitor Scottish and National Vocational Qualification (S/NVQ) students
- Provide mentoring support and guidance to inspire learners
- Collaborate with industry practitioners to ensure the relevance and quality of vocational qualifications
Requirements:
- Education to HNC/SVQ level 3/SCQF level 7 or equivalent within a relevant subject area
- Comprehensive experience of the motor vehicle sector
- Experience of assessing, verifying vocational and work-based qualifications (training can be provided)
