Aeronautical Engineering Assessor

Ayrshire College is seeking a VQ Assessor – Aeronautical Engineering to support the delivery of work-based and vocational qualifications. As a VQ Assessor, you will assess, verify, and monitor Scottish and National Vocational Qualification (S/NVQ) students in the aeronautical engineering sector. You will develop effective partnerships with external employers and commercial organisations, and provide mentoring support and guidance to inspire our learners.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the aeronautical engineering sector and be able to communicate effectively with learners and employers. You will be responsible for verifying and monitoring student progress, and providing feedback to learners and employers. Experience of assessing and verifying vocational and work-based qualifications is preferred, although training can be given.
