VQ Assessor - Aeronautical Engineering


The Ayrshire College Work Based Assessment Team is seeking a VQ Assessor - Aeronautical Engineering to support the delivery of work based and vocational qualifications.


As a VQ Assessor, you will play a vital role in assessing, verifying, and monitoring Scottish and National Vocational Qualification (S/NVQ) students in the aeronautical engineering sector.


To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of the aeronautical engineering sector and be able to provide mentoring support and guidance to inspire our learners.


You will also be responsible for developing effective partnerships with external employers and commercial organisations, requiring you to be a confident and effective communicator.


The successful candidate will be educated to HNC/SVQ level 3/SCQF level 7 or equivalent within a relevant subject area and have comprehensive experience of the aeronautical engineering sector.


We are looking for someone who is passionate about helping others achieve their career goals and is able to provide high-quality assessment and verification services.


The salary for this role is £35,459 per annum.
