Static Heating Interface Unit Technician – Facilities Management Provider

CBW Staffing Solutions is currently on the lookout for a Static Heating Interface Unit Technician to perform both scheduled and on-demand maintenance across a premium residential contract. The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in Facilities Management and demonstrate a successful history in maintaining commercial properties. This role is perfect for a maintenance technician currently in a similar capacity who is eager for advancement. Key Responsibilities
  • Replacement of domestic heating system components such as radiators, cylinders, tanks, and system controls.
  • Conducting power flushing of heating systems.
  • Finalizing reactive maintenance tasks as per site requirements and reporting issues to the support desk.
  • Performing plumbing duties for both domestic and commercial installations, including pressure systems, fan coil units, piping, radiators, valves, pumps, and motors.
  • Monitoring pressure in piping systems and using gauges to check for leaks.
  • Managing hot and cold water systems, calorifiers, boilers, legionella control, and general plumbing services.
  • Overseeing cold water storage tanks.
  • Possessing strong knowledge and experience in working with Heating Interface Units.
  • Engaging with clients to comprehend their needs, provide updates on progress, and address any inquiries or concerns.
  • Maintaining precise records of work completed, including inspections, repairs, installations, and compliance documentation.
Work Hours & Benefits
  • Competitive salary up to £45,000.
  • On-call duty - 1 in 4.
  • Standard working hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00.
  • 20 days of annual leave plus public holidays.
  • Provision of a tablet and work phone.
  • Full company uniform provided.
Qualifications
  • Plumbing - City & Guilds Level 2 (Essential).
  • Plumbing - City & Guilds Level 3 (Desirable).
  • Ability to pass a DBS check or possess a current DBS (Essential).
  • Provision of trade certificates is required.
  • Demonstrated experience in commercial property maintenance.
  • Multi-skilled capabilities.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Client-facing experience.
