We are seeking a Finance Analyst to become a vital part of our team. This role offers flexible hybrid working arrangements, allowing for a blend of in-office and remote work.

Key Responsibilities:

In this position, you will provide analytical and commercial insights across designated areas. Your duties will include:

  • Generating precise and timely financial management reports, along with forecasting and budgeting activities.
  • Delivering ad hoc financial support to Business Unit Managers to facilitate informed decision-making.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

We are looking for an analytical professional with a strong background in finance and proven expertise in Excel, reporting, and stakeholder collaboration.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

  • Part-qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) is preferred.
  • A degree in a relevant field such as business finance, finance, or accounting, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in a commercial finance environment, particularly in management accounting.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and the commercial factors that drive financial performance.
  • Proficient in advanced Excel functions (including pivot tables, lookups, and complex formulas).
  • Exceptional analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Solid understanding of data analysis and business reporting.
  • Effective communication skills, capable of positively influencing stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, fostering constructive interactions across various levels.
  • Proactive in seeking insights into business performance.

Your Daily Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Assisting the Finance Business Partner in preparing standard monthly reports and commentary.
  • Maintaining budget and rolling forecast models to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
  • Supporting the tender and bid processes with financial analysis and commercial modeling.
  • Facilitating contract transitions to business-as-usual operations.
  • Reviewing customer and contract profitability, collaborating on cost reduction initiatives.
  • Developing competitive pricing models that respond to market demands.
