We are seeking a highly skilled Finance and Administration Specialist to assist with the appointment of a Finance Technician on a 2.5-month contract, with a high likelihood of extension at the client's discretion. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with a Local Authority in Lincolnshire, providing administrative support and financial management services.
Key Responsibilities:
- To provide administrative support for the Court of Protection and Appointee cases on behalf of the nominated Deputy/Appointee for Lincolnshire CC.
- To manage an allocated caseload from new referral through to day-to-day maintenance, referring to the Deputy/Adult Care workers where required for authorizations.
- To ensure that all entitlements to benefits and other income are correctly managed and claimed on behalf of the service user, seeking professional advice where necessary.
- To complete the reconciliation and updating of client bank accounts using Excel spreadsheets.
- To assist with the reconciliation and updating of client accounts, including the compilation of annual accounts, ensuring monies are promptly claimed and liabilities paid.
Requirements:
- GCSE English & Maths at Grade C or above.
- A basic understanding of financial procedures.
- One year of experience working in a financial environment.
Important Notes:
- The successful candidate must be available to work immediately or at short notice.
- The candidate must have the right to work in the UK.
