About the Role

University Hospital Southampton NHS Trust is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Project Officer to join our team. As a key member of our project team, you will play a crucial role in delivering change projects, working closely with services across the organisation and clinical, managerial, and operational teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of change projects, working closely with stakeholders to identify and implement improvements.
  • Collaborate with clinical and non-clinical teams to develop and implement service redesign initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Provide project management support to the project team, including coordination of meetings, communication with stakeholders, and tracking of project progress.
  • Work with the project team to identify and mitigate risks, and develop contingency plans as needed.

Requirements

  • Degree or equivalent experience/diplomas.
  • Knowledge and application of a recognised service improvement technique.
  • Evidence of further training/study.
  • Project management experience, including facilitation of meetings and groups.
  • Experience at junior management level, with evidence of leading and implementing change, influencing behaviour, and collaborative working with others.
