Job Title: Legal Counsel/Contracts Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Legal Counsel/Contracts Manager to join our team at NEC Software Solutions. As a key member of our legal team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity of our commercial contracts and maximizing their potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Negotiate and manage a variety of commercial contracts with customers and suppliers, including software licensing, cloud hosting, and SaaS contracts.
  • Review and respond to bids, identifying legal and commercial risks and recommending mitigation strategies.
  • Advising on contract risk analysis and drafting and negotiating contracts, including contract variations.
  • Manage contract documentation and review and update legal and operational templates.
  • Provide legal advice on business matters to all levels of personnel, including senior management.
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of complex commercial contracts and negotiating skills.
  • Articulate and confident in communicating with stakeholders, including Executive Directors.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and effectively under pressure.
  • Experience negotiating complex commercial contracts, preferably with a technology, software, and/or IPR bias.
  • Proven track record of successfully working within a team and ensuring high professional standards.
