Job Title: Legal Counsel/Contracts Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Legal Counsel/Contracts Manager to join our team at NEC Software Solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading on the negotiation of commercial contracts with customers and suppliers, reviewing and responding to bids, and advising on legal and commercial risk.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Negotiate and manage commercial contracts with customers and suppliers
  • Review and respond to bids, identifying legal and commercial risk
  • Advise on legal and commercial risk, recommending mitigation strategies
  • Draft and negotiate contracts, including contract variations
  • Manage contract documentation and templates
  • Provide legal advice to all levels of personnel, including senior management
  • Engage with sales and project management teams to ensure compliance with business processes and procedures
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of complex commercial contracts and negotiation skills
  • Articulate and confident communication skills, with ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Experience in a similar role, with a solid understanding of commercial contracts and negotiation
  • Law degree or equivalent qualification, with a strong understanding of commercial law
