About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at our Surrey office. This role involves working on a diverse range of projects across the Education, Residential, Commercial, and Healthcare sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead engineering designs and manage projects to ensure timely completion within set budgets and timelines.
  • Implement company procedures and policies, and maintain high standards of quality and safety.
  • Manage the design team, providing mechanical engineering support to all engineers, and develop mechanical standards within the organization.
  • Liaise with clients and attend project meetings to ensure effective communication and project delivery.
  • Conduct surveys, produce reports, and perform quality inspections of projects to ensure compliance with company goals and industry standards.
  • Monitor the financial aspects of projects, including budget costings and tender analysis.
Requirements
  • Must hold a full UK driving license.
  • Experience working in a consultancy, contractor, and direct client settings, including both traditional and design & build projects.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and Hevacomp (or Cymap).
  • Educated to HNC or degree level, with familiarity with CIBSE guides, IEE Regulations, CDM Regulations, and British Standards.
