Job Title: Finance Assistant

The Finance Assistant role is a key position within our organization, responsible for providing administrative support to the Finance Manager in processing day-to-day financial transactions. This role requires a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Reconcile payment transactions in Xero and ensure accuracy of financial records.
  • Manage supplier statements, reconcile discrepancies, and follow up with suppliers as necessary.
  • Perform bookkeeping tasks, including data entry and record-keeping.
  • Process invoices, verify supplier payments, and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Assist with payroll processing and reconciliation.
  • Provide administrative support to the Finance Manager, including data entry, filing, and other tasks as required.
Requirements:
  • Accounts/Finance Assistant experience.
  • Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and relationships simultaneously.
  • Negotiation, communication, presentation, and listening skills.
  • Time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
