About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior National Account Manager to join our Cereal Partners Sales team based in Welwyn. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a Top 4 retail grocery account and driving business growth through effective negotiation, business planning, and relationship building.

Key Responsibilities
  • Negotiate customer terms to secure quality space and distribution
  • Develop business plans for customer estates in conjunction with Business Unit Controllers
  • Review performance monthly and ensure customer and CPUK volume, revenue, and customer contribution objectives are being delivered
  • Identify business strategies for customers and analyse data to recommend courses of action
  • Conduct regular business reviews with customer contacts and stakeholders to develop effective relationships and identify opportunities for growth
  • Identify promotional efficiency improvements and produce action plans for implementation
  • Build a thorough understanding of customer strategies and monitor competitor promotions
  • Liaise with commercial colleagues to ensure customer plans support overall CPUK commercial strategy
Requirements
  • Proven experience in an FMCG customer-focused role with a good knowledge of working with retail customers
  • Successful performance in sales and ability to build high-value customer relationships
  • Established customer key account management skills with a focus on driving joint business plans
  • Ability to analyse complex situations and develop plans to address opportunities
  • Understanding of the link between supply, category, finance, and sales
