About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Facilities Director to join our leadership team at Butlin's. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our resort's facilities, including entertainment venues, pools, restaurants, rides, and landscape areas.

The resort spans over 300 acres, with an annual budget of £3 million for repairs and maintenance. Your primary objective will be to ensure that all facilities are maintained to the highest standards, while also implementing processes and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

You will be responsible for managing a team of internal staff and external contractors, coordinating and controlling their work to deliver a prompt, efficient, and high-quality service. This will involve ensuring compliance with all relevant statutory legislation, as well as identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.

As a leader, you will be expected to motivate and engage your team, even during periods of high demand. You will also need to be able to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly to changing requirements, while maintaining excellent standards across all facilities.

We are looking for a candidate with a credible background in facilities management, preferably with experience in leading large teams in a similar environment. You should have strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire your team to deliver exceptional results for our guests.
