Loan Settlement Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Mandarin speaking Loan Settlement Administrator to join our team at People First.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for processing loan drawdown, repayments, and interest reset in banking, utilizing their Mandarin and English fluency to communicate effectively with clients and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify loan notices and e-permits to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Open new client and facility accounts in FOVA, and input deals into the system.
- Register Nostro account cashflow related to loan settlement, and make drawdown payments due in GCMS following instructions from Credit Administration Department.
- Update Loans Register schedule spreadsheet, and ensure interest and/or principal are received from agents or the borrower, consistent with loan transaction records.
- Liaise with Head Office and coordinate with internal departments on analysis of loan system upgrades and processes.
- Prepare business reports for Head Office, and process payment instructions in SCMS and FOVA using knowledge of SWIFT formats.
- Create new client accounts and facilities in FOVA, and register Nostro account cashflow related to loan settlement.
Requirements:
- Mandarin and English fluency.
- Work experience in loan settlement to process loan drawdown, repayments, and interest reset in banking.
