Mandarin Speaking Loan Settlement Administrator Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mandarin speaking Loan Settlement Administrator to join our team at People First. As a key member of our banking operations team, you will be responsible for processing loan drawdowns, repayments, and interest resets in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Verify loan notices and e-permits to ensure accurate processing
  • Open new clients and facilities in FOVA, and input deals into the system
  • Register Nostro account cashflows related to loan settlement
  • Make drawdown payments in GCMS following instructions from Credit Administration Department
  • Update Loans Register schedule spreadsheet
  • Ensure interest and/or principal are received from agents or borrowers and are consistent with loan transaction records
  • Process payment instructions in SCMS and FOVA using knowledge of SWIFT formats
  • Liaise with Head Office and coordinate with internal departments on loan system upgrades and processes
  • Prepare business reports for Head Office
  • Cover treasury settlement, clearing, and payment, trade services, correspondence, and reconciliation as needed
Requirements:
  • Mandarin and English fluency
  • Work experience in loan settlement to process loan drawdowns, repayments, and interest resets in banking
  • Good Microsoft Office skills
  • Good organizational ability and attention to detail
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with people from different departments
  • The ability to prioritize tasks and delegate when necessary
  • Accurate reporting skills
  • Good team player
