Our clinics are busy and varied, and we are continually expanding our services. As a Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for supporting Consultants and Clinical Nurse Specialists in a variety of gynaecology, urogynaecology, colposcopy, ambulatory care, and rapid access clinics.
Main Duties- Support patients by demonstrating exemplar nursing practice and implementing evidence-based care, providing a high standard of individualised patient care and experience.
- Assess patients' health and well-being across a complex and changing caseload.
- Assist in the delivery of care to meet individuals' health and wellbeing needs.
- Provide and receive complex, sensitive, or contentious information.

Job Responsibilities- Providing care and support to patients undergoing procedures.
- Managing junior staff.
- Providing support to the Unit Manager with administrative duties.
- Preparing clinics, setting up operative equipment for minor procedures and investigations.
- Supporting Clinicians in operative clinics and general gynaecology administrative work, preparing notes, coordinating the unit when senior staff are absent.
- First-level registration with the NMC, demonstrating evidence of ongoing continuous professional development.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care.
- Ability to learn new technical skills, prioritise, and meet deadlines, effectively managing discharge planning.
- Good level of written and verbal communication, experience of multi-disciplinary team working, excellent interpersonal skills, and IT literacy.
- Demonstrate initiative, ability to work under pressure, enthusiastic, hardworking, confident, and assertive while maintaining interpersonal sensitivity.
