Spire Healthcare is seeking a skilled Administrative Support Specialist to enhance our team and assist our esteemed Consultants in delivering exceptional patient care.

In this role, you will provide a competent and professional administrative support service to consultants, serving as the primary contact for patient inquiries and ensuring outstanding customer service consistently.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm. The management is open to considering two part-time candidates for this position, provided that mutually agreeable hours can be established. Contract Type: Permanent Key Responsibilities: Audio Typing of clinic notes and correspondence for General Practitioners. Strong communication skills. Scheduling clinic appointments and managing clinic operations. Coordinating theatre bookings as necessary. Preparing clinic documentation and reports. Addressing patient and consultant inquiries. Providing copies of clinic letters as required. Managing incoming mail for consultants and distributing accordingly. Collaborating closely with Outpatient, X-ray, and Medical Records Departments for information retrieval. Assisting with additional reasonable duties within the department as needed. Supporting other administrative tasks as required.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

RSA Level II qualification. Proven experience in a similar capacity, delivering high-quality service to both consultants and patients. Proficient in audio typing. Solid understanding of medical terminology. Comprehensive knowledge and application of MS Office. Excellent telephony skills. A caring attitude towards others. Ability to work effectively in a team. Flexibility and adaptability. Initiative and accountability. Enthusiasm and pride in work. Respect for confidentiality and understanding its significance. Empathy for the impact of the role on patients in vulnerable situations.
