About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team at Octopus Energy Services in Brighton. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the smooth running of our field support team, managing performance, and tackling exciting new projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a group of team managers who oversee a large team of field support specialists working alongside field engineers installing low-carbon technology across the UK.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operation of the operations function, including team management, operational reporting, managing third parties, and industry compliance.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and report back to the Operations Director.
  • Lead internal and external meetings with senior stakeholders.
  • Support employee communication with the management team.
  • Provide operational expertise and support to the teams.
Requirements
  • A confident and experienced people leader who can hit the ground running in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience in delivering programs of work, being super organized, and thinking practically about tasks needed to get the job done.
  • Adaptability, positivity, and proactivity in a fast-paced environment characterized by constant change.
