About this Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Business Partner to join our team at Just Eat Takeaway. As a key member of our Finance Business Partnering team, you will play a critical role in driving commercial decision-making, planning, and reporting across our Customer Services function.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial finance, with experience in business partnering, financial analysis, and stakeholder management. You will be responsible for providing analytical rigour to the process of evaluating operational and financial performance, navigating challenges from shaping long-term strategy to driving short-term performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with the Global Customer Services team to deliver optimal business results
  • Perform detailed financial modelling, analysis, and post-implementation review for various activities across compensation, staff cost, and operating expenses spend categories
  • Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, working with the Customer Services team and market finance teams to ensure collaboration and consensus
  • Actively engage in the month-end process, leading thorough and timely reviews and analysis
  • Maintain and update monthly KPI reporting, including commentary on material movements to target
  • Work on ad-hoc analysis and projects

Requirements
  • Experience of commercial finance business partnering with increasing levels of responsibility and senior stakeholder management
  • Qualified or part-qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, or ACA) or financial analyst (CFA)
  • Curiosity and a continuous improvement mindset
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong operational business understanding, including potential impact of business decisions on internal and external stakeholders
  • Advanced Excel, financial modelling, and reporting skills
  • Outstanding presentation, communication, and visualisation skills
