Job DetailsQuantity Surveyor - Solihull, UK Rail

The Sisk Group is seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Solihull, UK Rail. As a key member of the commercial and construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of projects while maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and analyse tenders, negotiate and finalise contracts, and manage financial and commercial aspects of projects.
  • Manage and report on forecasts, targets, reconciliations, site records, document control, variation reporting, valuations, and assist in site records and document control.
  • Liaise with and commercially influence/challenge site management teams while maintaining and protecting Sisk Group's commercial and contractual entitlement.
  • Manage and oversee AQS and TQS, checking and taking responsibility for their work and sign-off SMM/measurement issues.
Qualifications:
  • Experience as a Quantity Surveyor in build projects.
  • Experience working on large hospital/healthcare schemes (ideal for one of the projects).
  • A relevant 3rd-level qualification.
  • Experience in report writing, forecast planning, and engaging with clients and senior leaders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
