The Sisk Group is seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join their team. As a key member of the commercial and construction team, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of projects while maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have experience working with clients and contracts, and will be able to analyze and negotiate contracts to maximize commercial returns and manage risk.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing tenders, analyzing and selecting appropriate subcontractors, negotiating and finalizing subcontract orders, and managing the financial and commercial aspects of projects to completion. They will also be responsible for managing and reporting on forecasts, targets, reconciliations, site records, document control, variation reporting, valuations, and assisting in the site records and document control.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of tenders, analysis, and selection of subcontractors
  • Negotiation and finalization of subcontract orders
  • Financial and commercial management of projects
  • Management and reporting of forecasts, targets, and reconciliations
  • Site records and document control
Qualifications:
  • Experience as a Quantity Surveyor in build projects
  • Experience working on large hospital/healthcare schemes
  • A relevant 3rd-level qualification
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
