The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting our proxy voting mechanisms, investment stewardship efforts, and sustainability projects. This position provides the chance to collaborate with various departments, including Investment Research, Client Communications, and Client Services, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proxy Voting Management: Assist in the organization and execution of proxy voting activities, ensuring compliance with our firm's standards.
- Investment Stewardship Assistance: Engage in broader investment stewardship initiatives, including active dialogues with companies.
- Sustainability Evaluation: Assess company and portfolio data to aid clients in achieving sustainability goals, thereby enhancing our service offerings in this vital area.
- Interdepartmental Collaboration: Coordinate with the Investment Research team and Client Communications/Service teams to manage stewardship documentation and address ad hoc inquiries.
- Information Preparation for Management: Compile essential data for Committees and Groups, ensuring management receives accurate and timely information.
- Client Reporting Development: Create and prepare sustainability-related content for client reports and Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
- Research Operations Support: Acquire comprehensive knowledge of all facets of Research Operations to provide effective assistance as needed.
- Provide coverage and support for team members during absences.
- Perform any other duties reasonably requested by management.
