Job Title: Investment Accounting Oversight Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Investment Accounting Oversight Specialist to join our team at M&G plc. As an Oversight Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective delivery of our investment accounting processes and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with third-party administrators and key stakeholders across M&G to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of investment accounting processes and regulatory requirements to provide expert guidance and support.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain and enhance controls, ensuring the overall control environment is robust and effective.
  • Provide analysis and insights on emerging trends and issues, driving process improvements and ensuring compliance with governance frameworks.
  • Develop and implement new processes and procedures to support the growth and evolution of our business.
Requirements:
  • Technical experience in investment fund pricing and workings, including alternative assets.
  • Experience with different asset types and valuation methodologies.
  • Previous experience in an accounting oversight function within financial services.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Accountant by qualification or experience.
