Role Overview

The PMO Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the Technology PMO by delivering financial analysis, tracking, and reporting to ensure the efficient management of the technology project portfolio. This position requires close collaboration with stakeholders to facilitate the transition to a Value Management Office (VMO).

Role Responsibilities
  • Establish data-driven metrics and KPIs to evaluate portfolio performance.
  • Collaborate with the Finance Business Partner to create, implement, and maintain a financial tracking framework for technology projects and programs.
  • Ensure transparency in resource allocation to activities, including third-party involvement, and develop processes for resource distribution.
  • Assist in the review and approval process for significant projects and programs.
  • Engage closely with project managers to gain a comprehensive understanding of assigned projects and business areas, enabling effective analysis, challenge, and quality assurance.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the PMO and governance framework.
  • Conduct quality audits on project documentation.
  • Work in tandem with Project Managers and other delivery team members to ensure seamless project execution and optimal resource utilization.
  • Raise governance and control concerns as necessary.

  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Credible and confident, with the ability to persuade and influence senior stakeholders.

  • Agile mindset focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Desired
  • Experience in Banking or Financial Services.
  • Familiarity with JIRA.
  • Knowledge of SAFe methodology and Lean Portfolio Management.
