About the Role

As an Engineering Technician, you will be a vital contributor to the execution of scheduled and emergency maintenance within our state-of-the-art automated fulfilment centre. Your responsibilities will include working at heights and utilizing various access equipment to diagnose equipment failures and address issues promptly, completing repairs when feasible. You will manage the Computerised Maintenance Management System, ensuring accurate data records to meet engineering performance indicators. Additionally, you will assist the engineering team in analyzing equipment failures and devising solutions to enhance the performance of Mechanical Handling Equipment.

Your work schedule will involve shifts to support our 24/7 operations, consisting of 12-hour shifts across days, nights, and weekends.

About You

You should possess a formal engineering qualification along with practical experience. A solid technical understanding of automation hardware and software is essential, as well as familiarity with PLCs, SCADA, and conveyor systems.

Being organized and detail-oriented, you are a natural problem solver with strong analytical skills. Effective communication is key, and you should be able to share knowledge and best practices with colleagues. You must be comfortable working safely at heights and be willing to adhere to a 24-hour shift pattern.
