About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our supervisor team in waste services. As a Waste Management Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring operational staff maintain high standards of customer service and health and safety.

You will need to manage operational teams, identify service improvements, and allocate resources effectively. This role will include site visits to check on crews and meet with members of the public.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day service provision in accordance with the council's requirements for waste services.
  • Supervise frontline waste collection services or similar operational services.
  • Ensure back-office systems supporting operational activities are effectively and efficiently updated.
  • Contribute to increasing recycling rates and reducing waste sent for disposal.
