Senior Structural Consultant

Location: Nottinghamshire

Salary: Up to £55,000

We are currently seeking a skilled Senior Structural Consultant to join a dynamic and successful Civil and Structural Engineering firm in Nottinghamshire.

In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing one of the most active civil and structural teams, contributing to the expansion of their industrial and manufacturing facilities division. Your responsibilities will encompass the entire project lifecycle, from land acquisition through planning, tendering, and detailed design stages.

Key Qualifications:

  • A relevant first-class degree, such as an MEng in Structural Engineering.
  • Associate memberships (ICE or IStructE) or nearing Chartered status.
  • Proficient in design software such as Tekla and TEDDS.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate within a mixed civil and structural engineering team, providing support to a Principal Engineer.
  • Oversee design packages and manage a technician while leading smaller projects.
  • Conduct structural surveys and propose solutions for identified issues.
  • Ensure effective project delivery while managing client expectations.
