Senior Structural Engineer Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to join our team at Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD. As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of structural projects, working closely with our clients to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of structural projects, including beams, complex structures, industrial and masonry built offices and care homes.
  • Conduct structural appraisals on domestic dwellings and commercial buildings for mortgage purposes or repair.
  • Collaborate with internal design teams and CAD technicians to deliver projects.
  • Mentor junior staff and provide guidance on structural design and appraisal.
  • Prepare and present structural reports to clients.

Requirements:

  • Chartered Structural Engineer or working towards it (MIStructE).
  • MEng in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering.
  • 6 years+ experience within a similar role.
  • Experience of undertaking structural appraisals on domestic dwellings and commercial buildings for mortgage purposes or repair.
