Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Contract Manager to join our team at LJB Recruit. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the successful management and control of multiple projects, ensuring timely completion, quality of work, and adherence to contractual obligations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement project plans, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with site managers to agree on job programs and monitor progress, intervening to recover delays where possible.
  • Communicate program changes to all affected parties and ensure timely delivery of critical information.
  • Identify and manage variations to contract, revising project plans as necessary.
  • Liaise with the commercial team to ensure procurement schedules are compiled and site supplies are procured in a timely manner.
  • Monitor job costs and progress against budget, ensuring valuations are submitted on time and in-coming invoices are checked and signed off.
  • Manage client relations, representing the company at site meetings and maintaining a flow of timely information to clients.
  • Compile and submit reports as required, including the final contract account and O&M Manual.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in contract management, with a strong understanding of construction and operational processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with site managers, commercial teams, and clients.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions, with a focus on delivering results and meeting deadlines.
