**Our Mission**
We are recruiting an Engineering Director to lead the strategic planning, engineering capability development, and technical delivery of projects across our Decommissioning and Fuels business lines, in alignment with our 2030 Plan.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead the growth of a diverse, collaborative, and high-performing engineering team.
- Provide oversight for complex, multi-disciplinary projects within your assigned account, and act as the go-to person for any engineering issues raised by project teams or clients.
- Work closely with the Technical Director, Business Managers, Key Account Management, and Resource Management to support the implementation of the Budget Delivery Plan, Key Account Plans, and department transformation initiatives.
- Ensure your team possesses best-in-class technical talent to innovate, support business development, and solve challenging problems.
- Interface with customer stakeholders and regulatory bodies at all levels, including senior leadership, to build strong, trusting relationships.
- Partner with sales and operations teams to showcase Assystem's technical capabilities to current and potential customers, while driving the engineering aspects of proposals and value propositions.
- Cross-Department Alignment: Collaborate with other Engineering Directors to align capability development, share transferable skills, and optimize capacity across all business units.
**Requirements**
- Nuclear Decommissioning Expertise: Successfully manage and deliver large-scale, high-hazard nuclear decommissioning projects.
- Engineering Management: Demonstrated experience in leading engineering teams and projects.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with Quality Management Systems and subcontractor design assurance.
- Educational Excellence: Engineering degree qualified, preferably Chartered.
