Overview of the Position

We are in search of a talented and driven Financial Insights Analyst to become a part of our vibrant finance team at Head Office.

Reporting to the Financial Insights Manager, you will have the chance to engage with key decision-makers and senior operational leaders throughout the organization, playing a crucial role in delivering essential financial insights, reports, and analyses to aid in strategic decision-making while enhancing and scrutinizing financial performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with key stakeholders and senior operational leaders.
  • Identifying and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Compiling weekly performance reports and dashboards.
  • Creating monthly presentations on performance metrics, highlighting significant trends using clear and concise methods.
  • Discovering opportunities to enhance processes or reporting data.
  • Partnering with the management accounts team to analyze monthly performance by brand, site, and location.
  • Regularly reviewing profit and loss (P&L) cost items to gain insights into the cost structure and presenting key trends.
  • Working closely with operational leaders to optimize performance, manage costs, and enhance profitability.
  • Providing analytical support and data-driven insights to influence decision-making.
  • Conducting quarterly forecasts.
  • Leading and managing the budget preparation process.
  • Performing additional analyses or tasks as requested by senior finance leadership.

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Part-qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA).
  • Strong communicator with the confidence to discuss financial data with senior finance personnel.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Solid commercial finance and business understanding.
  • Analytical, adaptable, and detail-oriented.
  • Experience in multi-site operations within hospitality or retail (preferred).
