Commercial Finance Analyst Role

About the Role:

In2 Consult is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Finance Analyst to join our client's finance team in Blackburn. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and ambitious individual to progress their career in commercial finance and financial planning and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Support the finance team in preparing budgets and forecasts for the business, and assist with rebudgeting and reforecasting where necessary.
  • Process Improvement: Proactively seek areas for improvement within the business and work collaboratively with stakeholders and the wider finance team to implement changes.
  • Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing presentations containing complex financial insight to be presented to senior stakeholders.
  • Operational Efficiency: Continuously find ways to improve processes within the finance team.
  • Financial Analysis: Provide high-quality financial analysis into large data sets, identifying trends and highlights.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Professional Qualification: Studying towards a professional accounting qualification (ACCA/CIMA/ACA)
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills
  • Technical Skills: PowerBI experience would be highly desirable
  • Education: Recent Accounting and Finance Graduates would be considered
  • Commercial Acumen: Strong commercial acumen
  • Time Management: Ability to work towards tight deadlines within a fast-paced environment

Salary and Benefits:

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £38,000 - £47,000 + Bonus.
