Job Title: Professional Support Lawyer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Lawyer to join our team as a Professional Support Lawyer. As a key member of our Commercial team, you will play a vital role in providing expert legal knowledge and support to our lawyers and clients.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skillset and join an expanding, diverse Commercial team. You will be responsible for researching and keeping up to date with developments in law and policy relevant to the Commercial team, sharing knowledge with lawyers to help them with their business development and client care responsibilities, and providing/organising internal training sessions and know-how updates to fee-earners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Research and stay up to date with legal developments relevant to the Commercial team
  • Share knowledge with lawyers to support their business development and client care responsibilities
  • Provide/organise internal training sessions and know-how updates to fee-earners
  • Deliver/organise bespoke client training and knowledge resources
  • Answer ad-hoc queries and provide advice to lawyers within the firm
  • Contribute to the development of business opportunities for the Firm by helping develop know-how products that meet the needs of our clients
Requirements

We are looking for a Commercial lawyer with a minimum of 7 years' post qualification experience. You will have strong legal technical ability, commercial acumen, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will also have a commitment to thought leadership and the creation and maintenance of a strong knowledge function.
