We currently have a vacancy for a 30-hour Logistics Support Operative based at a community hospital within our Estates and Facilities Directorate.

Key Responsibilities

The Logistics Support Operative will be responsible for various Facilities Management tasks, including:

  • Receipt and distribution of healthcare-related supplies.
  • Transportation of linen containers, waste bins, and carts throughout hospital premises.
  • Assisting with patient transfers between departments.
  • Providing domestic and reception support.
  • Conveying and moving patients using wheelchairs, trolleys, or beds, while assisting clinical staff to minimize risks.
  • Handling the movement of deceased individuals in accordance with Trust policies and procedures.
  • Ensuring that all waste is collected, transported, and disposed of following Trust policies and current legislation.
