We're on a mission to shape the future of sustainable mobility, and we need talented individuals like you to help us achieve our goals. As a Business Development Executive, you'll play a crucial role in identifying, converting, managing, and developing new business opportunities within LeasePlan.

This is a fantastic opportunity to leverage your telesales skills and experience in business-to-business sales, ideally within the car industry or contract hire sector. You'll need to communicate, negotiate, and present at a senior level, empathizing with your target audience and using your telephone skills to build strong relationships.

This full-time role is based in our Slough office, offering a competitive salary of up to £30,000 based on experience, plus £10,000 OTCE and a range of flexible benefits.

  1. Contribute to the entire new business process, suggesting innovative and reasoned ideas to maximize new customer sign-ups.
  2. Ensure customers understand the LeasePlan service and are aware of how their account will be managed.
  3. Contribute to the overall success of the LeasePlan team by both personal performance and team spirit.
  4. Be involved with any ad hoc projects as may be required within LeasePlan.
  5. Identify and evaluate risks within the department/function (including errors, fraud, and inappropriate procedures) and take appropriate measures to manage these.
  6. Ensure sufficient business controls are in place to minimize exposure to risk – to include system access controls.

Required Knowledge & Experience

  1. Fluent in business English language – written and verbal.
  2. Good PC and technical skills with a good working knowledge of the Microsoft suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  3. Customer-driven with a proven ability to build long-term relationships and provide creative and innovative solutions to a wide variety of customers.
  4. High level of commercial and financial awareness with an ability to recognize opportunities for profitable business.
