About the RoleThe Reception Centre Night Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the Reception Centre, ensuring that all UAS children receive the support they need to begin their resettlement journey. This will involve managing a team of staff, coordinating care and support services, and ensuring that the Centre is running smoothly and safely.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the night-to-night running of the Reception Centre, ensuring that all UAS children receive the support they need
- Lead a team of staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that care and support services are delivered to a high standard
- Coordinate care and support services, including medical care, education, and emotional support
- Ensure that the Centre is running smoothly and safely, including managing budgets and resources
- Work closely with other teams and agencies to ensure that UAS children receive the support they need
- Annual leave allowance of 29 days (increasing to 30 days with 5 years' service)
- Excellent local government pension scheme
- The opportunity to expand and develop your knowledge and skills of working with children seeking asylum
