Compliance and Audit Leader, Transportation Risk Management

Amazon, a globally recognized leader in customer satisfaction, is seeking a skilled Compliance and Audit Leader to become a vital part of their European Transportation Risk Management team.
In this position, you will work closely with Last Mile transportation units across various European regions to evaluate regulatory and compliance challenges. Your responsibilities will include conducting risk-based assessments with transport partners, facilitating process enhancement initiatives, and working alongside diverse teams to pinpoint and evaluate risks.
Core Responsibilities:- Evaluate regulatory and compliance challenges
- Conduct risk-based assessments with transport partners
- Facilitate process enhancement initiatives
- Collaborate with teams to pinpoint and evaluate risks
- Standardize and document processes, risks, and controls
- Manage compliance-related escalations
- Build partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
- Exhibit strong communication and problem-solving abilities
As a Compliance and Audit Leader, you will interact with Carrier Partners, plan and conduct audits, provide advisory support, and verify corrective actions. Furthermore, you will collaborate with business, legal, and technical teams to devise strategies for addressing identified gaps.

Essential Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree
- Experience in Operational Audit, Compliance, or Internal Controls
- Proficiency in advanced Excel functions for data analysis
- Experience with national labor agencies
- Background in the Transportation or Supply Chain sector
- Data analysis expertise using tools such as Tableau and SQL
- Foreign language proficiency is advantageous
