Junior IT Support Engineer (Windows 1st / 2nd line)

Are you a bright and enthusiastic IT professional looking to progress your career in a dynamic and respected educational establishment?

We are seeking a Junior IT Support Engineer to join our small team, responsible for providing 1st and 2nd line support to users, investigating and diagnosing issues in systems, processes and services. As an SME, you will have opportunities to work on project-based work, including gathering requirements for software development, automation testing and database management.

About the Role:

  • Provide 1st and 2nd line support to users, investigating and diagnosing issues in systems, processes and services.
  • Work on project-based work, including gathering requirements for software development, automation testing and database management.
  • Develop your skills and knowledge in IT systems and software applications.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve issues and improve services.

About You:

  • You have a good knowledge of common operating systems: Windows, MacOS, iOS, Android.
  • You have experience of supporting IT systems / software applications.
  • You have excellent communication, stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
  • You have an analytical mindset and enjoy problem solving.
  • You're familiar with SQL databases and ideally have some scripting / coding skills.
