School Meal Service Team Member

Lancashire County Council delivers catering solutions to numerous educational institutions across the region, providing a significant number of nutritious meals daily. We are seeking dedicated individuals to enhance our service.

As a member of the team at Whittlefield Primary, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, nutritious meals to students. Please note that this is a temporary role intended to cover Maternity Leave.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up the dining area for meal service, including arranging furniture and cleaning up afterwards. Assist in the preparation, cooking, and serving of meals and beverages. Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen equipment and dining areas.

Desired Qualifications:

Ability to collaborate effectively within a team. Capacity to perform under pressure and demonstrate initiative. Strong customer service skills. Previous experience in catering and food preparation is required.

Working Schedule:

Monday to Friday Term time only 20 hours per week, with hours varying based on meal demand.
