You will be joining a dynamic and award-winning specialist patent firm with a global client base, ranging from SMEs to multinational blue-chip companies. As a key member of their billing team, you will work closely with a team of 4, coordinating billing activities and ensuring seamless execution of tasks.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for queries and requests, providing exceptional customer service and support.
- Organize and distribute monthly billing workload, including preparation of WIP reports, amendments, and finalization of bills.
- Manage eBilled clients, including the upload of LEDES files and bills, onboarding new clients, and managing client invoices and rates.
- Oversee compliance with internal billing procedures and ensure accurate and timely disbursements.
- Produce reports and assist in monitoring WIP and billed fees, providing valuable insights to the team.
- Assist in the preparation of cost estimates and budgets, ensuring accurate financial planning.
Requirements
- Up to 2 years of experience in legal finance, with a strong understanding of billing procedures and compliance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with senior colleagues, partners, and stakeholders.
- High attention to detail and a self-motivated, driven individual who can work independently and as part of a team.
