About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Propulsion Test Technician to join our team at FMC Talent in Milton Keynes. As a key member of our client's team, you will be responsible for the set-up and delivery of powertrain testing projects for key OEM and tier 1 clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement mechanical and electrical rigging, fitting, and operating test systems
  • Perform general engineering tasks, including troubleshooting and problem-solving
  • Support propulsion test programmes, including identifying problems and faults as they arise
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve customer complaints and recommend corrective actions
Requirements
  • Vocational qualification in mechanical or electrical engineering, or extensive experience in a related field
  • Proven powertrain or vehicle component fitting skills
  • Practical knowledge of vehicle systems, including AC and DC electrical systems
  • Adaptable and comfortable working autonomously, with excellent communication skills
