About the Role- Deliver engaging and effective teaching and learning in Maths and English, from Entry Level to Level 2, to students who require additional support.

- Model inclusive learning practices and celebrate diversity in all aspects of the teaching process, fostering a culture of respect and empathy.
- Ensure that all learners achieve at least good outcomes in their education, setting high standards and expectations.
- Teach Functional Skills in Maths and English from Entry Level to Level 2, adapting your teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of our students.
- Engage with parents to ensure they are informed and supportive of their child's progress, promoting open communication and collaboration.
- Model inclusive learning practices and celebrate diversity in all aspects of the teaching process, fostering a culture of respect and empathy.
- Ensure that all learners achieve at least good outcomes in their education, setting high standards and expectations.
- A recognised teaching qualification is essential, with a minimum of a Level 5 Teaching qualification or QTLS certification.
- Significant experience in teaching and lesson planning, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality education.
- Experience working with young people, including those with complex behaviours or additional learning needs, and a strong understanding of behaviour management strategies.
- Extensive experience in teaching Functional Skills in Maths and English, with a focus on achieving good outcomes for all learners.
- 28 days of annual leave plus bank holidays (increasing to 33 days with service), providing a healthy work-life balance.
