As a Senior Technical Product Manager, you will take ownership of a prominent and innovative area within Amazon, focused on enhancing conversational shopping experiences that assist customers throughout their purchasing journey. You will be responsible for defining the strategic direction and creating new experiences in collaboration with various teams across Amazon. Once the strategy is established, you will partner with dedicated engineering and scientific teams, as well as UX designers, to bring your vision to fruition. You will oversee the complete product lifecycle, from conception through customer experience definition, delivery, and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate thrives in uncertain environments, demonstrates a strong bias for action, and leverages data to inform strategic decisions and develop new solutions that yield results. Building trust and fostering strong partnerships with teams across multiple organizations is essential. You possess the ability to articulate your ideas clearly in written formats. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Establish the product vision.
  2. Manage the product roadmap.
  3. Collaborate closely with customer research, UX, marketing, legal, international partners, and your dedicated engineering team to deliver features in your domain.
  4. Define and oversee business and feature metrics for customer engagement and operational reliability.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of experience in product management
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical field, or equivalent experience
- Proven experience in launching commercially successful consumer products in global markets
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience presenting to executive leadership
- Strong history of building and leading high-performing teams
- Experience managing complex product development cycles and highly technical solutions.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- MBA with a BS or higher in Computer Science or a related field
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Demonstrated ability to comprehend and discuss technical concepts, manage trade-offs, and evaluate new ideas with internal and external partners.
